Gamescom Cologne - Trade Show Transportation Services by Pyramid Logistics

Gamescom is Europe’s biggest trade fair for thrilling video games that takes place yearly at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia & Germany. It is planned by the BIU (Bundesverband Interaktive Unterhaltungssoftware also known as Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software in English). The trade fair is largely attended by several video game developers from all over the globe. It acts as a platform for them to demonstrate their forthcoming games & game-related hardware.

Gamescom is the most popular and world's biggest gaming event, from exhibition space and number of visitors’ point of view. Every year, this trade fair of video games is graced with 335,000 visitors, more than 6,000 journalists and 700 exhibitors from across 88 countries joining the show in its sixth year. It took place from 19 to 23 August 2009 for the first time and since then has never looked back. In 2015, Gamescom will be held from 5th August to 9th August 2015.

Get the tickets and coloured wrist bands at the entry by showing your IDs. The colours of the age wristbands match to the usual USK logos. So avail them accordingly else you won’t be allowed to enter.

Make sure you bring along matching photo identification to Cologne, i.e. passport, DL or school ID card with photo etc. Gamescom’s remarkable performance zone will be open to all visitors from 6th August to 9th August 2015. 5th August 2015, is exclusively kept fortrade visitors and the media. The manager can allow the admittance to a restricted number of the general public on this day. The public can visit Thursday, 6th August 2015 to Sunday, 9th August 2015.

You can opt for car, train or plane, whichever suits you for the studio transportation. If you go by car, you will notice 10 highways moving to Cologne’s beltway that gets you directly to the exhibition centre without any traffic jams. All you need is to follow the green signs marked “Koelnmesse”. There is sufficient parking space for your cars. Free shuttle buses also route from the car parks to the entrances as means for movie vehicle transportation.
