American Society of Oncology, Chicago, IL

The American Society of Oncology (ASCO) conducted an event last May 29 to June 2, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois. The 2015 ASCO Annual Meeting was held at the McCormick Place. The funds used for organizing this event came from the Conquer Cancer Foundation as well as other organizations that aim to fight cancer. 1. Education Sessions - This session was prepared for event participants who are interested in learning different areas of clinical oncology such as surgical oncology, radiation oncology, geriatric oncology, health services, pathology, and symptom management.

2. Sessions on clinic problems in oncology - This session was created to serve as a panel discussion that would be utilizing cases as samples. The audience in this session is encouraged to play their part in the session as there are keypads for them that facilitate the interaction between them and the resource speakers.

3. Meeting the resource speakers up and close - In this session, the participant were able to directly interact with the well-known resource speakers in the industry. They discussed different areas and issues in the field of oncology.

4. Oral abstract sessions - This session is intended for participants who are fascinated in learning more about the newest research data and findings in the field of oncology. In this session, the speakers shared and different researches and studies that could help oncology practitioners enhance their knowledge in oncology.
